The cost of a private investigation may vary depending on the duration and complexity of the case, the number of detectives involved, the number of vehicles and technical means distributed, the place/ places where the investigation (s) take place, as well as certain necessary operational expenses conducting the requested investigation. Some Private Investigation Agencies have rates per hour, per investigator, while others charge per team or per case, the difference is the efficiency, professionalism and services quality..
The specialized consultancy at the Investigation Agency PRO LEX is pro bono and for the existing clients, the assistence is permanent.

For the investigative activities carried out outside Bucharest / Metropolitan Area (Ilfov County) or abroad, costs are calculated and supplemented regarding: transport(travel by car, train, plane, ship, taxi),accommodation expenses, daily allowance, other taxes and operative expenses that are required in solving the case, and which will be justified with vouchers or invoices. For the activities of operative supervision (Spinning) and counter-spinning operation, the minimum necessary time is included in a interval of minimum 5 hours/ day and maximum 16 hours / day and for shift 3, the rate is negotiated. The activity should be distributed over an hourly interval of at least 3 per week with the sum of working hours for a maximum period of 90 days( 3 months). The price is divided into two tranches, respectively the first tranche between 50% - 70% - advance from the estimated price, when taking over the case and the difference at completion. There are several situations when the price is paid in full when taking over the case (investigations of persons/ goods). For the following situations, the cost of the investigation is subject to change:
Night surveillance( time interval 22:00 - 06:00): + 25% (negotiable).
weekend: + 25%
legal holidays: +50%
moving outside the locality: +25%
Beneficiary: individuals and legal entities.
